Zynaps was best played with joystick, coz you waggle the stick to activate power-ups. 🕹️ I'd usually build up firepower and speed first. (Second pic, the big white icon is speed. Third pic it's firepower. ..Fourth pic is the missile I go for once I've taken care of the basics) 👍

That and Tapper are two early C64 conversions that, to me, are still more fun to play than the real arcade game.
(IIRC, the instructions for Spy Hunter even mentioned how to wire up a button to the other joystick port for secondary weapons.)

I love Revs, and Revs+. The sound is merely functional, but if you hook up an analogue joystick, or paddles, it becomes such an amazingly good racing simulator. It's really unforgiving. But persevere and you'll find it so exciting to get through to the finish line in first place.

The author worked on an AGA version of this too, yeah? Though it never got released. 😐 I've got a teeny tiny credit in there for nagging them for analogue joystick support and making the adaptors. Quite a cool game, though I was never able to work out the weapons. I just fly. 😁
