So, we have this project for microbio where we have to post everyday about anything related to microbes. Today was my turn and I have no pic for my post so I just decided to draw the COVID-19 virus real quick.
Anyway, stay safe y'all! Don't forget to wash your hands!

This is such a great essay, with additional comments by Roberto Kolter suggesting what I suspect is true: microbes impact our behavior. Avete parvuli Domini. Artwork by @Blackmudpuppy https://t.co/UrFpbywQnn
Je lui donne un petit nom : Microbe. MiKrobb.
Un jour il se détache de mon cou c'est le drame je l'ai perdu je suis inconsolable, j'en recrée d'autres, des différents.
Mais Microbe a pris vie de toute façon, en vrai il est toujours avec moi.

@ASMicrobiology And then comes the big reveal - you get to see what the inside of your head looks like from someone else's point of view!
You inspired ART!!
Use it. Enjoy it. Be inspired back.
#MicrobeArtWalk
@ASMicrobiology Once you've agreed terms, it's really helpful to organise the things that need organising before the artist can be paid, while they do the work. Like registering them as a supplier or raising a PO number. Otherwise they have to wait much longer to be paid.
#MicrobeArtWalk
@ASMicrobiology Plus all the stuff you can't predict! Sometimes the commissioning process itself leads to new ideas or questions. Sometimes your commission will inspire that talented postdoc to email you, sparking a lifelong fruitful collaboration!
#MicrobeArtWalk
@ASMicrobiology Perhaps for a #scientist it's easier to think of #sciart as a reagent. An antibody might cost $500 a pop, but the answers it gets you are priceless! (Or at least another grant). Art is like that too. Why know about something if you can't share that knowledge?
#MicrobeArtWalk
@artologica @KristinHenry @trilobiteglass @vexedmuddler It's been a long old day and I haven't even gotten through my shopping #MicrobeArtWalk wishlist yet! Maybe I'll have to share some more with you tomorrow...
#printmaking #microbiology is also a great way to represent the basically invisible soup we work with day to day.
It may look indistinguishable from freshly autoclaved buffer, but that clear liquid is positively teeming! #MicrobeArtWalk
@BriegelAriane What could possibly go wrong? 😂
#MicrobeArtWalk
Microbe Reigen what will he do
[reupload] Oh man just... make he tiny... curse that man to be little
#WorldOceanDay is our opportunity to share why we love the ocean and celebrate the vital role our ocean plays in our lives. It is the lungs of our planet! We love every aspect from the microbes to the mammals. What makes it so special for you?
@samfrowe @OpenAcademics Hi I'm Eliza, a microbiologist and scientific illustrator - I post mostly about #sciart, #microbes, #AcademicChatter and the occasional #Labrats #cartoon

Check out this great #sciart made for The Microbe Institute’s lichen adventure, created by my cousin who is an artist and preschool art teacher! #scicomm #LichenNearMe https://t.co/Plov5Wm5Av
