@AbominableMech1 What I meant by my comment is the overall range of French cartooning, from the cartoonish Modeste et Pompon all the way to be-all-end-all Moebius; and how they've been consistent in this quality. Unlike the United States.
I was thinking of this just-released cover, specifically.
3. Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland - A lesser-known animated classic that pushes the wondrous boundaries of the medium. Moebius, the legend himself, was behind much of the visual development.
Undersea creatures designed by Moebius for James Cameron’s “The Abyss” (1989)
Jean Giraud, a.k.a., Moebius (1938-2012) -- designs commissioned by Lucasfilm for the film “Willow” (1988).

Just stumbled across @ODPomery ... Reminds me of Moebius' cleanest line-work drawings. The first 3 isometric studies are part of a project for AirBNB. The last one is for Senet magazine, commissioned to accompany an article on tile-placement games.
While I'm working on a new drop...

I'm so happy!
Thank u so so much @_1mposter for taking my 1/1 piece "New Era Moebius"
and an edition of "me revolqué por la realidad, ahora estoy destruida" (just 3 left now 👀)
I'm going to sleep happy, today was a great day of sharing art my friends 💜
I just remember about this tweet before, how similarity both atsuko fukushima and Yohsuke Tamori (Popolocrois) with moebius style is no wonder that tamori-sensei really love Franco-Belgian comics so much and met the master himself, Jean 'Moebius' Giraud. Having finished Moebius: Empire Rising now, I can say that this game gets a worse rap than it deserves. It's certainly rough around the edges, but the story, characters and puzzles were very compelling. Definitely feels like a Jane Jensen game, and I actually kinda loved it.
Detalles bonitos de la exposición "Cómic. Sueños e historia" en el Caixaforum de Madrid, con unos originales preciosos. Winsor McCay/Moebius...
Fine, I give you "Morbius drawn in the style of Moebius"

Jean Giraud, a.k.a., Moebius, double splash page from the story “Harzakc,” Heavy Metal, vol. 1, no. 4 (July 1977), that appeared on the cover of that same issue. It was Moebius’s Arzach stories that inspired the Taarna character and sequence in the Heavy Metal movie (1981).
I've never asked anything like this on my twitter before. But probably it's time to know you better guys c: What has been your recent inspiration? I like reading and collecting comicbooks! My personal favourites are "Maus" by Art Spiegelman and "The World of Edena" by Moebius.
