Later, as I grew up and found the Heisei era, a version of Godzilla that I think is the most lonely, my silly pink critter resurfaced as a more realistic universe-fitting character, and I named her Shezilla.

The pink background on this old art is a nod to her origins.

I was looking threw some lancer stuff and saw they had this AWESOME purple Beetle mech (maybe a Dunbine nod).

Turns out this is just art they used and it's not one of the frame types currently in the game.

Basically Blaze's origin is a Pegasus being corrupted by Nightmare Moons darkness. Making him a bat pony is an additional layer of corruption, where he loses his visible "humanity" in favor of serving the queen.

Also he was originally a dragon OC, so it can be a nod to that
