There actually are subtle but noticeable differences in how Impa and Paya are designed.

Longer hair, different sized face paint, different sleeves and leggings, Impa definitely looks more like she’s equipped for combat.

Right off the bat
- Different hair length and outfit
- The Chopstick placements are different
- Different make up
- Their eyebrows are also different
- Their face shape is also a little different
- Could be the artstyle but Paya seems to have more defined lashes than Impa
