6. the reason i have acorns and other types of seeds strewn around my character is that i use them for spells!
I can make plants grow, and while i can use other magics, i mostly use my hands for things. ^^;

Mentioning this one because of the way it encouraged experimentation. The game came with documented runes and spells in the manual. But the list is incomplete, you have to figure out how to use the runic alphabet to cast the unlisted spells.
