Fun fact: nearly all commercially grown artichokes consumed in the U.S. are grown in California. Alice Ellen Klauber ties her identity as an artist to her home state by painting these artichoke blossoms, subverting the tradition of still life with her painting subjects.

Its interesting how this art subverts the usual rigid uke/seme gender roles seen in a lot of BL and similar. The staff have made clear Reo's the Top, but that doesn't mean he's """the man""" in the relationship. He's the lap pillow, which in m/f is almost always the feminine role
