I really like Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou, or simply put, the series about the well-grown daughter of a Witch who loves her mom very much.

Makes me think how far would she go to make her happy, if she would start to subvert and weaken the world just to make her mom happy.

I have to give a tremendous amount of respect to Muneyuki Kaneshiro & Yusuke Nomura for having two of the biggest pair of literary balls in Manga/ Anime. Blue Lock takes subverting expectations & turns it into a fuck you to the reader, & we need more of it. You like this Chigiri?

Subverted all expectation and shifted the focus to the OTHER lead character while having the original character actor play into his range and deliver as a heartbreaking foil to the characters. I LOVE this movie. It was unexpected, and is woefully underrated.
