Day 642: Kimono patterns. honestly I still don't know about the colors here, but on top of that there's so much freaking contrast in the design. I've got to think about if I want to crush these values somehow or keep them as-is.

Hatching is an avenue for shading with, but also great establishing texture. It’s also not exclusive to being used with ink or anything, you can use it with other media. Our eyes translate the lines into values. Cross hatching is the crossing of lines. Contour is curving lines

Textures in Gray - This was a bit hard for me because VALUES. I hated them at first but later I started to understand them a bit more ;w;

Finally, colored the Horned Cyclops Terror Dragon.

From deciding the values and the colors, then at the end how to make the illumination work. It was quite a challenge.

In my opinion these Manga stories play a heavy role in defining and showcasing his values and morals as a person.

If you enjoy the storytelling here I do recommend Honkai Impact 3rd the game to try out as it’s by the same story writers/devs!
