"On m’a reproché plus d’une fois, que je peins des gens écorchés ou bien des cadavres. Ça n’existe pas dans mes tableaux, et à coup sûr dans mes intentions. En tant que peintre, la chaire humaine lisse m’ennuie."
Zdzislaw Beksiński (1929-2005).
The pictures above and below are from 2013 to 2015
I had worked the design into a kind of interdimensional alien or spirit species. This was before I stumbled across the artwork of Zdzisław Beksiński.
I did not draw these creatures again for a year or so.

Love the works of Salvador Dalí? Then you'll love Polish surrealist artist Zdzisław Beksiński. As an artist, Beksiński was fascinated with death, decay and darkness... 🎨 --> https://t.co/HLk4msTzmI

Metamorphic Animals by Zdzisław Beksiński. The 1990s were a tragic time for Beksiński. His wife, Zofia, died in 1998. A year later, his son Tomasz committed suicide. These paintings show animals going through horrific metamorphosis into imaginary forms.
another batch of haunting and eerie Zdzisław Beksiński's works. I love his use of red colors.
