i can't decide on an eye color for him

this is for something im working on, but idk what would look best on him
i think green looks nice, but i also think a gold yellow type of color would be good too
the safest option would be brown, but thats a bit boring

im not the best person to ask about black hair since i rarely draw characs with black hair

but looking at rinko you can see most of her hair is a lightish brown, it's only the shadows that appear black but it's those shadows that let you know her hair is black and not brown.
