Rintarou and Masao Maruyama's "Phoenix" trilogy

The first short film, directed by Rintarou himself, is more-or-less similar to The Dagger of Kamui in its presentation; though, the absence of Tezuka's aesthetics aside from Akio Sakai's character designs is a bit unfortunate

T - 18 days : “Gauche the Cellist”

The great Isao Takahata directed two movies before the creation of Ghibli that are absolutely unknown. Gauche the cellist one of them.
It's an adaptation of a book by the famous Japanese novelist Kenji Miyazawa (Night on the Galactic Railroad).

Movie Dark City (1998)
Directed by: Alex Proyas

Ambitious in just about every way, a decadently crafted love letter to noir crime thrillers while never holding back on its high concept science fiction premise. Possibly a tad under-acted but never underwhelming.

Don't be concerned about things you can't control. Our attention and energy should be directed toward the things over which we have control. We can influence our attitude, effort, and attention.❤️❤️❤️

Exorcist II: The Heretic is the lackluster studio cash-grab that almost derailed the franchise. Directed by John Boorman and written by William Goodhart, the film failed to deliver the scares that the original is well known for.

SB/ED: Yasuhito Kikuchi 菊地康仁

Checkpoint directed by Jana Kattan. A really sobering but still lovely animation, You can tell Jana and her team really wanted to bring light to Palestinian issues.

The bit at the end with Leila and the old man eating the oranges was sweet, a bright spot in the dark
