Tourneur shot a Gothic chiller about modern-day witchcraft in England. The film was adapted from M.R. James’s short story ‘Casting the Runes’ by Hitchcock collaborator Charles Bennett. Terrified me as a child, and still well worth a screening.

When a sorceress resurrects an ancient bird, it finds the weather too cold and cruel to bear, much to the dismay of a geologist witness. "The Sandstone Bird" by Edward Hitchcock is a truly dramatic tale! Artwork by .

Having watch Hitchcock's Vertigo yesterday and knowing Hiramatsu look at his work with great respect.

Can we assume he got some inspiration for the climax of the episode (the part where the rift opens between Yasako & Haraken) from Vertigo cemetery scene

I'm even happier with this Patreon reward than the last one. This is a good example of a strong prompt that really spoke to me- the idea being otherworldly, with vibes of Hitchcock beasties, and a visual similar to the glitches trail cam featuring a buck (posted with my art)

Alfred Hitchcock's version of The 39 Steps (1935). Apart from being a cracking thriller I also think of it as a bit of a Rom-Com. Its packed with witty dialogue & great comic characters.

Aparentemente tem um "resident evil-like" que se diz apresentado por Alfred Hitchcock e parece horrível. Quero.

Alfred Hitchcock:"If I made Cinderella into a movie everyone would look for a corpse. And if Poe had written Sleeping Beauty they would be looking for a murderer." And Hitchcock's anthologies for kids? Full of ghosts, witches, haunted houses

36 years ago today, Brian De Palma unleashed BODY DOUBLE into theaters.

I wrote about it for --a porn-pop uncanny valley of Hitchcockian anti-reality, heat-warped by sexual obsession into an unhinged flood of Brian D's megatonic, metafilmic id.

This is a big Hitchcock homage lol. Anyway, Bart kills Miss Hoover and is disappointed that Lisa did not kill Krabappel. Bart kills Skinner and Lisa then goes after Bart. She gives up and throws away the knife, only for it to kill Bart. Was it an accident? Who knows. CRISS CROSS.
