Rivals Ghidorah was definitely a better issue than the Mothra one. A more interesting saturday morning-esque plot, unexpected fan service and cameos, and nice composition. I still think the Hedorah issue was a better story overall, but this was a good 2nd place.

Happy 58th anniversary to Mothra vs. Godzilla!

Great action, music, story, characters etc! Pretty much everything about the film is great though it’s ending is a bit anti-climatic. This film is also the last in the Showa era to feature Godzilla as a full antagonist.
