Designed to beat the new 250 GTO, it raced at Le Mans 1962, it ran 7th overall (ahead of the GTOs) before retiring. This drawing was done a few years ago, when I was struggling to gauge how much pastel was too much. So often less is more. I am still learning that in so many ways.
I focused a lot on clean line art back then for comics but then flipped the table and went "i'm going to go thin and messy line art whether they like it or not." because it was tiring my hands. glad I did.
