this is a WIP but I usually just do a rough sillohuette to get my proportions in order then a rougher sketch, cleaner sketch, lineart, colors, shading, highlights, overlays!! The whole process takes anywhere from 5-12 hours but it's really rewarding :D

but then I do shading! I mostly do it on a hard light layer with varying opacity and sometimes stack for the right shading. recently I dont even do highlights unless it has a hard light like this does. It's mostly just purple-red shadows and the flats showing thru for highlights

Cadet was an extreme hybrid of a Vroid Beta and a from-scratch model. Kana is not Vroid at all, also I remade the hair highlights since people kept calling the hair Vroid for some reason. The hair is made from beizer curves and texture inspired by an Instagram post originally.
