Some of a I have to admit I much more enjoy these more pastel and artsy backgrounds but I rarely do them because my image is a much more "realistic" artist. Let me know if y'all prefer this sort of thing

Are there any paleoartists out there that know how muscles, overlaying tissue and soft tissue and the nature of overlying tissue change bone shape/texture? I‘ve been coming up for skeletal ideas for my alien world, and wanted to make everything kind of realistic looking.

I have no idea when was so I probably missed it, but here's of one of my favourite Cenozoic dinosaurs anyway: the near-goose Conflicto antarcticus. These birds look modern, but are ancient, living immediately after the extinction of non-bird dinosaurs.
