I think you can find an explanation between resin and FDM easily, but I also got the same project preped both system.

3*3 cm, hollow dice. First one is resin, fragile and breakable. Second one is PLA+ plastic, strong and durable, but impossible to cut the internal supports.

I cant say for sure that he did his own genga for every cut but it certainly looks like it. To produce this on the finale of a show mired with production issues while also involved with more than half the episodes... one of the greatest of all time. Immense dedication.

An interesting design change in illustration is that the crest tattoo on Nu's chest is seemingly scratched out when she reappears in BBDW as "Juusan" (or XIII).

Whether she herself cut it off is a mystery, and going forward, the imprinted metal piece around her neck is cracked.
