Question for my 3D wiz mutuals, if one is to go about modeling a stylized low/mid poly tree in Max, would it be easier to model the tree first and then texture it
Or would it be easier to paint the tree and make cut lines and ‘extrude’ or pull on the verts and edges?

No worries! better pic here of an earlier stage, for the longer hair i just pulled out parts that i separated and could use zmodeller brush to add more horizontal edges to let it curve better. Once its all connected again then i just extruded it all and used polish by groups
