I’m wondering if it’s just me, or does Fallen Edelgard have a recurring wing motif in her art? Specifically it’s around her cape.
I dig it. Gives off the image of a mockery of an Angel sent to save Fódlan, even though her motive and morals have all but crumbled at that point.
Zasalamel's backgrounds are filled with motifs related to "time," and the symmetrical composition indicates perfection. The use of motifs reminiscent of the Mesopotamian civilization in some of the patterns is a clue to his roots.
