Adding to the Fire Emblem Awakening charm set we have Chrom! On one side he wields the Falchion in its basic state, and in the reverse, its glowing exalted form. This one was tricky because I had to draw his bare arm and pauldron using the same outline! Pre-order link in bio :3

Then the outlines, probably the most unique part about it.
They are really huge, obviously. But they get thinner around the face and chest areas.
They often also form spikes sometimes.
Shadows and the outlines are always the same color, to be exact.

i love the flat colors + thick outlines of 2000s - early 10s flash cartoons, especially with the more bouncy animation style with tweens + higher frame rates

At first I thought it was from Tiger Mask, but the outlines in the show are black and don't use colored lines in the character's designs. I believe the best way to find an answer is to look through all the shows Toei made to see which one uses this type of design.

The ring itself does funnel inwards and project towards the outside, which is what gives that dark outline, but the sclera, (usually white/ light part behind the ring) sits on the outskirts (and appears red often too in many due to blood vessels

I dunno why there's snow, it just looked so boring and...look backgrounds are hard, okay? Haha

Also had to play with colors cuz he clearly turned out the best between the two!
