Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca) is "of wonderful helpe to women in the risings of the mother", according to John Parkinson; 16th-17th C herbalist. It is also known as Throw-wort, Lion's Ear, and Lion's Tail, and commonly appears as a weed in gardens.

what is the rest of your garden like? Pond with a safe ramp out, loves of plants/hedges? Don't use chemicals/slug pellets etc. Are there gaps through to neighbours gardens? Check out your local rehab, they may be looking to rehome. I now have 6! And they're frisky!
