Ok look at these, what do they have in common. They're both stiff as hell with 0 curve or movement in the shoe. These are regular ass shoes, slapped onto Sonic with no way to actually contort them to *fit* sonics movement and style. They're stiff and unchanging.

Back onto the head, it's now got a pattern on the top and a mouth. The mouth is like the pocket on a pair of trousers - it's isolated from the outside wall to prevent z-fighting. I also highlighted the eye as I was working and thought it might look good in orange (it does).

I always start off with a pencil sketch & use different colors for face/body, hair, and clothes! It helps me a lot cause I tend to mix up lines :,)

Then I do lineart (my method is to get the eye shape w the base color before outlining it) then onto coloring!

🐑, on his way home from university, suddenly stumbles into a man who jumps out of a portal. In a fit of desperation, the starlit stranger holds onto him like a lifeline.

“You don’t know me yet, but I know you, fvvfvvchn.”
