I'm so excited to share this piece for MtG Dominaria United Japanese exclusive token art. Had a lot of fun on this, and here's the graphite mixed media preliminary sketch for figuring out compositional movement. Thank you for the opportunity and AD Tom Jenkot

I did for each illustration. The second one was very difficult to do and I have two different options that I did with the invaluable help of my friend who did the composition and the light and values.
Thank you bro, you save my ass

Prompt word of the day:

Chiaroscuro

is the use of strong contrasts between light and dark, usually bold contrasts affecting a whole composition

This image was simply Chiaroscuro --v 4 --q 2

In my mind it was better... But hey, Antodrick's mini comic, where Frederick has a compositional crisis and his pretty violinist tries to raise his spirits. In the end Rick ended up writing everything all over again.

.. Well, pink isn't red, so technically, I'm working on a different palette, right? Ahem.
Another design adoptable up for grabs! All hail to vertical compositions.

The positioning of his neck/collar didn't seem right, so I messed around with the pic some more (and in the process gave him even more floof)

Week 7 Assignment is a storyboard with 6 shots. The scene I came up with: "A little girl is waiting patiently to visit her new born sibling. Finally the nurse lets her in. From one moment to the other she became a big sister."

Done for the CGMA Composition class.
