This one has part of the photo incorporated in it. The lineless work still looks striking, but I'll be experimenting with this more whenever I need to finish the flower, sword, hair, and her hand. I can't tell if I like this more than the linework versions.

I find it hard to draw people front on in a neutral pose and not have the piece be a bit bland but I think these recent three represent progress on that front. Lighting and linework is dynamic in places, helps lead the eye around the piece.

My first study from the ! Tried a more relaxed process with this one and didn't want to do too much heavy linework. I don't love how soft it turned out but I'm very happy with the process I used, the colors, and just the whole result overall!! 😊
