I think Clodsire could be a good candidate against Poison Tera-type Greninja. It knows Ground-type moves and can either gain immunity to Water-type moves with Water Absorb or ignore stat changes with Unaware. Quagsire may work, too, though Greninja might know Trailblaze.

I feel a bit lost without Bard & Messenger to work on. It's tempting to keep editing but there's no point until I get it back from beta readers, and make any big changes, then edit. I should do that with fresh eyes if possible!
