comparing me first vs my last time drawing bernie to see if mt art skill has diminished or not
And here is more from my 2017 commission work.... I really enjoyed the fact that I can do paint semi-realism and still comparing my improvement from my old works....
Well ders the styles that you want to maintain from your old works . and I'am so excited to add new techniques
(don't RT) i just like comparing old art w/ new art. SHE HAS GROWN...
Comparing old art of Varri, I struggled so much with that earlier one and I never even finished it.
Art redraw to warm up! Comparing 2020 to 2016 in these #doggo illustrations. I quite like seeing the change in composition and skill level :)
(((Now I am off to enjoy some sunshine myself)))
Comparing stuff lolol
Im confused how im still awake??
Well im going to steal 2 pizzas in the ref ( ー̀֊ー́ )✧
I've been comparing the proportions of 16yo Becky to other characters to kind of get an idea has to how she would look next to them and this is what I saw.
Growth is a personal thing, done to make yourself better, not to rise to the standards of others. If you keep comparing yourself to others, you'll just be an ant in a world of giants, but if you focus on yourself, you can improve and grow to join them!
You only compare yourself from yesterday.
Thank you very much for your great advice, @_ghezoart @oddvillain

Went back to my old folder and found this #WINNER debut fanart i first made ( feeling nostalgic 🍂), and now comparing it to my recent style. I've changed so much 🥰
Comparing the two it's weird for me to realize how little I change in the composition
I really try and go for the overal palette and mostly the shape of the things in the wip, I want it figured out as soon as possible, and if I find it cool I just go with it

Drew Kaguya from Love is War, again!
It's really cool comparing this to the old one and seeing how much difference there is after 7 months

Instructive comparing Turner's rediscovered 1839"Oberwesel"Oil Sketch with subsequent 1839 Watercolour-Changed Tower on far Bank reflected in the Lake to near Bank-Added figures behind a reduced Lady and at far Right-Reduced Rock with a Hole-Put Lake Steamer further in distance🧑🎨
start | finish
i really love comparing sketches with end result so I had to jump on the bandwagon :')
Start // Finish
✨✨✨
I love comparing start to finish, it's so fun omg
