I have been watching Heartcatch Precure with my dad. He says it's an ok show but he doesn't like that it's so formulaic. However we watched episode 7 and he says it's one of the better ones. I wonder if we'll get far enough to watch DX 2.

Its been over a year since I watched Go! Princess Precure and Heartcatch Precure and I still absolutely adore them. Both have an amazing aesthetic, stellar fight scenes and interesting directing, but they also manage to meaningfully develop their characters and themes.
