Made some solid progress on my piece, which MAINLY involved deciding on a bloody colour scheme. I desaturated a bit (although I'm sure the colours will begin to pop as I shade), and really decided to go to down with the whole division between the two "versions".

My modern work is done in vector!
It helps provide a clean and streamlined process, but it can be a bit time-consuming when lineart gets involved.
But it also allows for me to get more experimental (plus the occasional resource reusing).

For example, one of the better known principles is stretching objects when movement is involved.

Of course realistically, very few objects stretch to this extent ever.

But since the frames are going by so fast, exaggerating the proportions tricks our eyes in a good way :)
