I finally made a better ref for her!! The challenge was making the zodiac outfit, ive had her black ones for awhile. Shes sweet but a bit too emotional. She fights by summoning trees and vines from her tattoos/markings

Here are the other versions I did when I was experimenting. Mostly wanted to change her face markings, but I did try other shades of gray and black, even some different off-whites. In the end it turned out as a mix XD

fun fact: zest gets more fur markings into adulthood and some grey hairs around their snout

Chance was inspired by circus lions and how poorly some are treated

Spinel’s design was inspired by Karabi from My Pride

And Phantom’s face markings were inspired by the singer Aurora

For my cartoonier work, most of the time Im using the default turnip pen from csp tweaked to my liking for line art, markings, shading etc. I have a modified G pen that i lower the hardness on and tweak the pressure of for softer marking edges and shading edges.
