Happy friends!!

Just your weekly reminder that my portfolio is still the same dumpster of Shakarian garbage it was back in 2014, when I drew this 🤣

(When Garrus says he wants to “retire somewhere tropical”, I assume it’s to have epic water fights with the Normandy crew)

Had a great question from a 10 year old reader - Is Norman the Norman from Normandy's chain mail made up of tiny unicorns? I can only see unicorns now.

In the summer of 1882 Monet spent two months painting alone on the Normandy coast. You can almost smell the sea air in these evocative works he did at Varengeville ~ Church at Sunset / Customs Officer’s House / The Cliffs

Look, I'm back to reviewing great indie animation projects on Netflix. Yay...
So The Long Long Holiday is an adventurous heartbreaking series that involves children dealing with living in Normandy during WWII. Great 3D animation, well written child characters, and many tears. 👍

French painter, Gustave Courbet, was born on this day in 1819. He visited 'The Sea-Arch at Etrat' in the Normandy in 1869, and in a month completed five views of the cliffs and numerous seascapes. He worked quickly, painting out of doors. Come and see the original in our gallery!
