I thought it would be a fun project to update the Dinosaur King dinosaurs to make them more accurate. Here are the first three. I’ve tried to keep their colouration as close to the original design as possible (within reason).

If you had to come to a #palaeoart workshop run by me (if you HAD to) what sort of things would you like me to talk about/demonstrate?
Wild I've been doing palaeoart for almost a decade, with really small following, but for some reason got noticed and exploded in online attention last year, just after starting my PhD.
(Here are some ~2015 pieces)
Did you know? The first poem we ever featured was about palaeobotany! The Carboniferous comes alive through the poetic words of Marion Delf-Smith, and this illustration by @johnjmeszaros!
Daily obsession: scientific illustrations by Irish palaeontologist and zoologist Sir Frederick McCoy (1817-1899)

Some island dwarf elephants for Kaimere:
Top is a hairy Palaeoloxodon, bottom is tiny Elphas that basically don’t grow out of the infant size and proportions.
Basically anything closer to arthropods than dinosaurs. If any goes down to generic/species level, I'll pick up Palaeoisopus. https://t.co/e1ohKH5aiw
We're PalaeoPoems: a digital anthology project compiling historical and modern palaeontology poetry! We've written about PalaeoPoems and their authors dating back to the early 1800s. Art by @KatrinEmery.
I like combining palae with more niche art movements usually not associated with palaeontology
✨Today is my birthday!🌿🎂🎉
It's the occasion to reflect on this yet another year that I lived.
I met wonderful people (and crows), and have progressed in my drawing skills.
I've published my first palaeoillustration in a scientific article, which is a big milestone!
🌿How it started (2011) vs How it's going (2021)✨
10 years of trying to figure out how to best use my digital art tools.
