dromaeosaurid either velociraptor or deinonychus.
Fun fact the "velociraptors" in Jurassic park are more like deinonychus but without feathers. Real velociraptors ae no bigger than turkeys.

Oh, you say?? Have some of my babies. Ankylosaurus magniventris, Pinacosaurus grangeri, Zuul crurivastator and, of course, my baby Struthiosaurus austriacus. Very ankylosaurid heavy it seems, hm. https://t.co/JB90Sfhf0i

🧵IT'S OUT! I'm thrilled to share my study study on the dinosaurs of the Merchantville Formation, including the description of baby hadrosaurids and the return of the Dryptosauridae-the eastern US's own tyrannosaur family...

It seems longer/thinner too. I don't suppose much is published about tyrannosaur head ontogeny? Although a very small tyrannosaurid dentary was described last year.

Dino Fact!

Kryptops (Covered Face) is an abelisaurid from Early Cretaceous Africa! Its skull had traces of blood vessels on it, implying something was attached to its face, likely a covering of keratin, a material found in other structures in animals like horns!

Dino Fact!

Pycnonemosaurus (Dense Forest Lizard) is an abelisaurid from Late Cretaceous Brazil! Estimated at over 30 ft long, it might be the largest abelisaur we know of! Its fossils were found near some sauropod fossils too, meaning it might've hunted them!

The conceptual design by Seth Engstrom depicts it with a carcharodontosaurid head with iguana-like spikes running down its back. Several of the concepts by Engstrom.

Dino Fact!

Oxalaia (After Oxalá) is a spinosaurid from Late Cretaceous Brazil! Underneath each tooth, it had two replacement teeth ready to go if one ever fell out! It's a trait no other known theropod has, but it's actually common in sharks!
