The characters typically have smooth, rounded faces, small noses, small mouths, the only “Euro-centric” thing would be the large eyes. When they do draw a white character though it often looks like this

For base layers, instead of a soft rounded brush, I mainly use a soft, roughly rectangular-shaped brush & apply a grainy texture to it.
I find it adds a nice amount of rawness while still blending smoothly when needed!

D&D 5e Samurai is extremely boring and one-note as it's based on Kurosawa tropes and not on anything historic. Which ironically is more well rounded and cool. Would absolutely remake it from the ground up when/if I have time.
