Good study sesh, I think proportions are alright for the most part except for the bottom half of the ribs. The 10th rib could've been constructed better but overall I can see an improvement with my gesture doing the bridgman studies

Idk if you guys noticed, but I draw Sonic with separated eyes. I used to draw it the normal way, but I just learned that I didn't like it overtime. Even though I love to be expressive and crazy with my drawings, I like things to be proportional and a bit realistic.

1) First the key is consistency of style and artistic tone. Goblintown does an amazing job of playing with the proportions while keeping consistent volumes and line weights. Add in the beautifully exaggerated and distorted anatomy without “breaking” any of the “rules”.
