@CoolBassistGirl Thanks, I was originally gonna go with just the manga colours to match the character images, but did a bit of editing and was able to get both of them in. The exact anime colour values was from this set of images in the movie illustration archive

Pretty much all my art that summer had loud colors. Like in everything I worked on. And a lot of it didn't look amazing or it was too loud or the values didn't work well. But it got me out of my comfort zone and I think my art improved, even if I still am not an expert at it

Tried using the approach of drawing in black and white values first and then coloring on top which was a great learning experience but I will say, I can never get it to look not muddy so I don't think this is a technique I'd enjoy using too often. #artstudy #ArtistOnTwitter
