@soggytommy DIFFERENT from those other drawings that are like, more flat, all the shading is on the lineart, but this is more a style thing
I tried to color it! just some messy shading!

@WendigoCreation I would say what you've made looks great so far. What has helped me is using more saturated tones and really getting into dynamic lighting. Saturated colors work really well for shading and you can even play around with all colors! I personally use deep red tones.
@RainbowSocksCat Heard from a little birdy you like a bit of magical transformation :3
Felt like adding some colour and shading. Hope you enjoy ☺️❤️
I just wanted to try some kinda shading and lighting effects so yeah #drawing #art #drawingoftheday
Since I did changed the shading I feel my drawings has improved a lot!
In the past I was using a grey tone(1) for shading, but since I did changed to a dark blue(2) or dark violet(3) the quality it's much better!
Don't fear to change, keep experimenting and find your own style! https://t.co/dGQTspf2Xq
I don't know which shading style I should focus my practice. I like the right one but I don't know how to make it look good 🥲
Here’s some recent work! Thought I’d share, these were very much experimental with shading and style. #art #digitalart #arttrade #arttradeopen #colours #rendering #characterart #characterdesign
This one gives me mental peace aaaa
Commission for the sweet @/SleepyLunaVT. Her vibes are just as relaxing as this work concept (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
//Cel shading style for her and the lil mushroom, slightly rendered bg

Completed my first art piece of my zukis .. Definitely need more work on the shading and outline but I’m happy with the results for now. I will continue to improve!

@MoriArts116 I always think in big and simple shape. You can always add detail later by giving it a soft shade, blur some part of the hard shade, adding another color, etc
Learning about shape and light source is fundamental for shading!
I got busy and wasnt able to finish an example however!
This is what it will look like with simple water-colour cell shading :D https://t.co/6LcN0v25Rs
