An interesting read. Definitely one for you,
- after our picturebooks-for-adults discussion last week. A beautiful blur between literature, art and meditation on life. https://t.co/fZ3yNpYMWp

This was one of my favourite spreads from my picture book, Cloth Monkey, but it didn't make the final edit, as there just wasn't space. The Kind Keeper is sewing the Cloth Monkey, to give to Little Monkey, who is too sad to play.

Finished! This is from an older story of mine that was not quite working. However I always liked this spread and wanted to see how it would turn out. I am really happy with it. https://t.co/xRD7pG1y67

I had a fun day teaching character creation to an international group on a retreat in Settle, Yorkshire. Picture books can take you to lovely places with lovely people!

Love it when a story takes you by surprise. I don’t own many picturebooks set in Great Depression era America. This is just fantastic by it tells a wonderful poignant story of a families love and struggles.

You might not think that can make a difference, but we do.
