Firstly, let’s go over the most obvious one the swords! Clouds buster sword is a clear reference to Guts iconic Dragonslayer.

Thanks for the artshare! My name is Dycehart and i love drawing! I work as an animator during the day and do my own art in the evening (usually of people smooching or people with swords) I'm also open for commissions! (https://t.co/QdQjNwB016)

My latest read, the excellent 'Dawn of Swords' by and , a book that takes the time needed to devise the plot, create great characters, kill some of them in fantastic ways, and leave you with the desire to get more. Highly recommended.

Everything pink, everything pastel, everything soft
*ignores the 3 swords piercing through them*

I'm still testing colours, do I want cool tones or warm peachy ones...

Medieval knights' legendary swords had names. Charlemagne's was "Joyeuse."
"Durandal" was the sword of Charlemagne's palladin Roland.
Poignant scene as he dies, Roland smashes it so it will not fall into enemy hands:
"Alas Durandal I cannot fend for thee."
