Juna Crawford (Trails of Cold Steel)
Remember how I said strong women are great? Juna values freedom and justice over everything else, which takes root in her nationality. She is insanely strong-willed and sometimes a bit of a meathead, but that's great in it's own way. Juna GOAT

at made me learn and fill a lot of gaps I had about character design and color values <3

Some older statue studies. Statues make it easy to focus on values, hard vs soft edges and lighting color. Done on the weekends in the museums of Berlin

Jean is definitely one of my favorite character designs. Sketched using a fine point on a large canvas. You get a lot of details, but A LOT of scribbling. The values help to make sense of it. SLEEP! 86

Preserve the heritages, adopt the values of life from it.
Stay tune for the next drop!

1- Sketch (figure out the composition and values! Knowing where your light source will be is also important to set a mood)
2- BG cleanup (tbh no idea what i did here)
3- Characters clean up
4- Light party and colour gradient to the BG.

Quick Photoshop tip: If you want a more accurate conversion to greyscale (rather than just desaturating), try converting to 'Lab Color' and then copying the Lightness channel. Perceived values should be way better!

I have always been genuine in comicsgate, because I have always been genuine. I told you all I believe. I represented myself and my values tirelessly and without waver. Now my talented friends & I will show you.

Thanks to Takai's own problems with water, the values for everything have been multiplied! There's only two days left to like, reblog and contribute, then on the 1st I'll total it up and start on the final image!

No bonus hair/leg growth for this, just Takai getting *enormous*.

Messing around with values and backgrounds. I faked some perspective. could work on making it clearer with the color.

Shiny pokemon (rare, alternatively-coloured pokemon) are a great example of addictive game design. Lots of anecdotal stories of players resetting over and over to get them.

Humane design: allow players to choose which pokemon are shiny. Devalues them, but its humane

Through , I create my own incorporating I feel are important for to learn. is but so is them a sense of and encouraging their minds to explore a world within. 💫

I still don't know how to color Rainwings when they're in the process of changing colors so I just kinda use a fancy brush and put a copy of their original values over it??? (Save for parts of the scales that can't change, they don't get fancy treatment)

conversely, don’t pull this shit and think it’s ok either. everything is about the values of colors relative to one another and the values of the piece as a whole

100% prepared to get canceled for this but some of y’all have no idea what whitewashing actually means... (2nd image is to show the values better)

Petit exercice de valeurs, encore, histoire de.

what's happening is the shackles come out fine as a result because they don't have any alpha values on them, but the skin isn't being set correctly, but it also isn't intended to be transparent. The result is a black void instead. It's *supposed* to be this if you remove alpha.
