i believe its generally the same no matter the program but i use csp! youll be going edit>img resolution & in my case with csp it gives you a dropdown where you can choose hard edges. you can make the canvas 5x bigger and itll stay crisp!

I'm not sure if it's how it's too easy to drop off the edges of platforms, and have to repeat parts of the map. ..I just found myself getting to a point where I felt like I was doing the same thing again. 🤔 Maybe I was just too sober. 😁 Should get sloshed and try some more. 😎

Another awesome portrait study session yesterday! This is what we ended up with. A departure from some of the harder edges & dynamically lit refs from previous weeks, but I still learned a lot!

Appreciate all the love & support thanks for coming by

redo...??
Rowan is the Jock type, but he USED to be the Cranky type, so I'd like to imagine he's still a little rough around the edges, even if he's calmed down over the years (maybe he takes his aggression out during his workouts).

Talise is a rough around the edges fighter who has had to stand up for herself at a young age. An incident at a port town she lived near has awakened a yearning to walk along the rivers of the world and now she seeks adventures that wait for her as she follows the water’s call.

A lot of people forget to use contrast in their art.
Use it pleaaaase. It'll make your work look 200% more interesting. Dark/light, different hues (based on lighting) and soft/sharp edges are a few things you could use to make your art stand out more.
Here's an example

Good night, lovely people and lovely dogs. When I see a border terrier when out walking they are charging through hedges, disappearing down rabbit holes and racing around. Hence I feel that they are built for adventure. Sleep well

It's Tsundere Thursday! Today's pick is Natsuki from DDLC! She may seem rough around the edges but she'll always stick her neck out for you in the end ❤ Plus she bakes cupcakes 🧁#Natsuki

Eighth step, again this is not necessary but more like a style of mine. I also add solid highlights in the edges of the outline, to make it look like the light source is hitting the skin. Don't make it too thick, a one strand is enough.

Third step is to add darker shade (make sure that you are not just only adjusting the brightness, but also picking a warmer/cooler color) I usually add darker shades near the gaps and edges of the skin

I love doing little comics like this but they take up a lot of time and energy. Even with this one I hedged some edges. I plan to do more of these especially with my OC’s stories. One day... guest appearance and ’s Amber.

We reached the Sticker Pack stretch goal on the Kickstarter campaign! I’ll show you guys the full designs real soon, but enjoy some colored sketchy Sunbursts in the meantime.

This is my second attempt at painting this. The first one has nothing but soft edges since I've been really too dependent on the smudge tool lately. I'm trying to open myself up to new things to add to my process, but I really shouldn't let myself get blinded

8. Keep painting, and remember sharp edges facing the light is the places to draw highlights. (give some color dodge on them too)
