実はスーパーマリオブラザーズ3のパッケージのしっぽマリオのアートワークはFC版とリメイク版(GBAから？)で微妙にデザインが変わっているみたいですわ
FC/NES版などのアートワークはMの文字が不自然なほど小さいですわ
あと微妙にポーズも変わっていますわね

Both Zangief and Soda Popinski had at one point the first name of "Vodka".

Zangief's Vodka name was a working name before picking the final name, whereas Soda's was his name in the Arcades but was censored from the NES release of Punch-Out!! onwards.

the NES has a feature where you can tint the whole screen by combining emphasis bits R, G and B. If you time the rendering of the scanline, you can make this happen in horizontal bands, making the gradient beneath it seem more colorful

I don't think i ever posted this "finished" stage concept.

Since isometry tends to negate colour count on the NES, i used an emphasis toggling trick on the skyline to have it appear as having more colours than what actually is in the palette

Well, finished my Ninja Gaiden pic. This is the last boss fight in NG2 (from NES), that is until now my favourite game from the franchise.
