Quick test paint of Acario in a slightly different style. I'm realizing the way Soejima and a lot of Japanese SAI users paint is a bit too soft for my style. I relied a lot on layers to get a few harder edges in there.

Stylization is a product of simplification.
Here’s some facial features from observation, then stylized based on what aspects of each i wanted to emphasize.
For me, i like to focuse lines where there are edges (like shadows and boney ridges)

The black line marks the ideal size for a while the red line is too restrictive and could lead to strangulation of the herniating brain at the edges of the craniectomy, causing further infarction.
