So, I got into tracing so that I can get an idea of how certain styles work. Then my chat decides that I should trace one of my OC's. The first is the result and the second is the original. Credits to Geekray who drew the original art. It was honestly really fun to do.

You will understand why I dislike cropping images especially off ones with busy background.😬 I cropped this without a magic tool which is currently being used now. I cropped this by hand, ok mouse, but you get it. Hours of painstakingly tracing the outline.

Tracing over reference photos, drawing the same figure to the side using your shape breakdowns, and fixing mistakes by comparing and overlaying shows what anatomy mistakes you may not realize you're making. Using this practice is incredibly helpful, trace!
