I think, if you wanna get better, draw fan art. Fanart forces you out of your comfort zone and pushes you to attempt to pull off unnatural designs for yourself. You'll most likely enjoy it by the end of it all anyway! The majority of my best is fanart♡
I like the contradiction of Arata saying “with just my own strength alone” while touching the tasuki. I think it invokes the duality of “A team match is a solo match. A solo match is a team match.” At times knowing you have a team beside you allows you to focus fully on yourself.
My favourite anime character is a tough decision but at the moment Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell comes to mind. I relate to her in many ways.
