It is based off of the claws of the coconut crab, a Japanese spider crab, the raptorial appendage of the mantis shrimp and the carapaces of lollipop crabs :D

Another explanation I thought of was pinkan berries, but the Pokemon whose pigments were permanently altered by the effects of those berries were all pink aside from their white parts, whereas Butterfree still has light blue appendages.
