So while I had to do that, I figured, why not upgrade a few things while I'm at it?

@roselii49 Like when I first started getting the hang of backgrounds, this simple one on the left was one of my greatest achievements. And now that I've practiced small stuff like this, the one on the RIGHT is now my greatest achievement despite its simplicity
the background here is actually an animated picture that's set to a certain Z Axis... above the normal battle backgrounds, but below the characters, enemies, and ref in the middle. all possible thanks to an animated picture plugin and one that changes the layer pics appear on.

Redrew a background from Amphibia for a “swamp” InkTober prompt!! Went for a flat-colored, extra cartoony style - I think it looks very charming! I rarely have the patience to draw backgrounds, but I wanted to push out of my comfort zone & practice! :)

Here, take this wip portrait of my new character/design. I plan to do a referenten sheet and character profile with personality, backgrounds, etc eventually!
It is truly an awesome world, very cool.
It started as a VERY SIMPLE drawing, but I ended up getting the idea of making SD a little bit hurt.
Also, backgrounds, I suck at those, but I'll get the hang of it.

@zephysonas if it's a popular character you can name them to add them. for backgrounds, just add the description to the tags and it's pretty good about it! here's "girl with short brown hair, orange jacket, smile" and again adding "mountains, trees, sunset" to the prompt to add the bg
