Commission art I asked from @babs_bnn in 2018!

8. Caim and Noah! My demon and angel boys, whom I haven't drawn in FOREVER (so please excuse the old art haha)
@nii_the_sourou 💞💞 Caim and Angel for you. Thank you for creating Drakengard art!
- Post DMC5, but she does gain her devil trigger!
- It's designed in a way that draws traits from both Dante and Caim.
Took a while, but I'm finally here with Morgan!
This is Morgan, with her trusty devil arm, Caim!
She is Dante's daughter, but is not at all interested in the devil hunting business!

Crafting the character of Doctor Caim was the heart of this graphic novel. I made a deliberate decision that Caim should never be seen without a mask. This way, the character is truly an Everyman: an average human being that could belong to any race, ethnicity, gender, etc.
These illuminated manuscripts influenced how I approached drawing “Doctor Caim.” They helped me decide on a simple four-panel per page format. They also helped me discover an overall color palette; I often took colors directly from these pages with Photoshop’s eyedropper tool.
