It's hard to articulate but often humans regard Mutants as not having culture, dangerous, uncivilized in a way that is clearly racially coded. Ewing inverts/subverts(?) that as the Krakoans transfer that ignorance to the Arakki and some see want to police them

Also, yes, I love these characters in all their virtues and flaws... well, except perhaps Hope, Beast, Steve Rogers... But I don't hate 'em.
