Jones骨折の治療方針は、完全骨折に至るまではインソールや運動指導などを行いながらプレー許可。完全骨折をした際には、図のような手術を行う(一例)。
これに関しては、基本的には抜釘は行わず、金属を入れたままプレーし続ける。

膝蓋骨骨折(パテラ骨折)のopeは、解剖学的に怖い神経や血管が出てこないところがいい。
大腿四頭筋と膝蓋腱に引っ張られて、図のようにパックリ折れていることも稀ではない。
今回の一例はテンションバンドワイヤリング法。手術材料費が安いのが特徴。
